Rising Above Offenses

The writer of Proverbs wrote, “A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.” We have all been affected by offenses in some way, shape, or form. But I want to begin this new year by showing us a different way, the way God intended for the conduct of his people. When people hurt us, God desires for us to overlook the offense. This can be difficult to do, but in the end, it is to your glory, it is to God’s glory.
