This lesson begins by looking at Mark 9:2-13; Jesus was is on the mountain with Peter, James, and John when Moses and Elijah appeared. Peter asked Jesus if he wanted him to build three shelters, one for each of them. Verse 6 clarifies that Peter was terrified and really did not know what to say. Of course, Peter goes on to become a mighty man of God and used powerfully to spread the Gospel, so this is not a lesson to demeanor Peter at all. However, learning some lessons from Peter, I would like to propose that there are times we should be silent, or at least carefully guard our tongue. Through this lesson, we are going to look at 10 scenarios when we should let our words be few.
