“Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.” – Ephesians 6:19-20

The Story of the Bending Table

The text used for this lesson is Exodus 35:30-36:7. In this text we learn of a fascinating time when the Israelites were giving so much, it became a problem that had to be addressed. It is not too often you have a giving problem when the problem is that too much has been given. This lesson is to praise and encourage the members at Dexter Church of Christ for their tremendous giving. The recent needs that have come to our attention have been more than adequately provided for by the generosity of each member. “The Story of the Bending Table” is our story. We have provided so many cans for the Shultz Lewis commodity drive, that the table is bending. What an amazing and outstanding story!

“if I speak, I want God to be glorified.”
